Hi there! I’m a textile and surface pattern designer, artist and dreamer based in the beautiful Pacific Northwest US. I create work with a sense of whimsy and spirit that is inspired by my love and awe of the natural world, travel, folktales and especially the sea. I hope you enjoy your time here exploring my world. To learn more about my story head over to my About page. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions, collaboration ideas or just to say hi!
My favorite part of what I do, beyond even the art making itself, is seeing my designs take on new life as objects out in the world where each person can have their own experience with them, hopefully one of joy. Take a wander through the gallery for a look at some of my designs and what they have become.
In addition to licensing, I create prints for direct sale to fashion and lifestyle apparel and accessory brands through Orozco, a creative print design studio. Orozco prioritizes working with brands who have sustainable production practices. Follow the link below to learn more about Orozco and see my print offerings.
I create limited edition goods such as hand-printed textiles and ceramics, art prints and apparel. Some are made by me and some are produced through small scale manufacturers with on demand, ethical production. Check out my shop page for current offerings.
I’m currently working on a series of courses covering different aspects of block printing, textiles and motif design. They will have staggered release dates throughout 2019 and will be using the online teaching platform, Skillshare, an amazing resource with classes across many industries. Head over to Skillshare and follow me for more info on my upcoming classes. I can’t wait to share my knowledge with you!
I offer regular in-person workshops at a number of schools and retreat centers and also participate in various creative markets, drawing nights and more. View the events page for upcoming happenings. Let’s create!
Join me on my blog, where I talk through creative processes, challenges and inspiration as well as travel stories, awesome creatives I’ve come across, what I’m reading and more!
My creative journey has been a windy path with many different stops along the way. Can you relate? Take a peek into some of my favorite past work.
